I have learnt from the books about Karma and Rebirth, especially Gananath Obeyesekere’s book ‘Karma and rebirth – A cross cultural study’, which carries out a detailed and extensive analysis of rebirth across cultures. It argues that, like religious and philosophical thoughts, even the concept of rebirth is shaped by cultural environments.
